Educational credentials suchs as diplomas and transcripts have to be legalized when they have to be used outside Spain.
We can help you with the process by applying to the Spanish authorities for the right validation of your diploma or transcripts.
Do you need help with the validation of your diploma or transcripts?
Diploma Legalization if the country is a Signatory of the Hague Convention.
Most of the countries have signed the Hague convention agreement where a unique authentication process was introduced. That means documents holding the Apostille will be recognized as valid when they will be used in another signatory country.
Diploma Legalization if the country is NOT a Signatory of the Hague Convention.
For countries that have not signed the Hague Convention the document must be validated twice:
- It has to be recognized as official at the Notary who works with your university
- It has to be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Madrid.
After finishing the course the diploma might take around a year to be issued, by then most of the students already moved to the country where they will start their professional career. We can do the whole process of legalization and send the document to the place where they need to be used if we hold an notary authorization which should be done before the student leaves Spain.

Contact us before you finish your university program, because we will prepare an authorization so we can process it even if you travel to your country of origin. We will do all the paperwork and send the document to the address you wish.
